Google drive finally announced! Similar to other services such as dropbox, skyrive, box.net, etc. It allows 5 GB of free file storage in the cloud. One feature that sets it apart is that it has a larger per file size limit of 10 GB. PC World has a nice comparison chart here for these types of services. One thing they don't mention is Windows Live Mesh which is similar to dropbox but enables PC to PC synchronization. They all have similarities and differences that should be able to solve many types of problems. We have experience using most of these services; give us a call or email and we can help make these services work for you.

On Tuesday April 17, 2012 Microsoft will end free user support of the Windows Vista operating system. Largely considered Microsoft's worst operating system release, the company will likely be relieved to have their Vista supporting days behind them. What does this mean for current Vista users? They can either upgrade to Windows 7 or choose to pay for Microsoft's Hotfix Extended support, but that support must be purchased by July 13, 2012.
We recommend upgrading to Windows 7 as Microsoft will continue to offer support for several more years. Whichever option you choose, Jarvis PC Solutions is the best company to help with your operating system upgrade installation and configuration.
